The FUNcube Dongle is primarily designed for use with AMSAT-UK’s forthcoming FUNcube satellite, but we’ve found it’s being used in a pleathora of other space applications including radio astronomy, deep space probe monitoring and receiving signals bounced off the moon.<\/p>\n
But it doesn’t end there. There are plenty of other applications, terrestrial as well as space, not to mention its use as a piece of test equipment. You only need to take a look at the FUNcube Yahoo group<\/a> – with nearly 2,500 members – to get an idea.
